  • FOFO (Franchise Owned, Franchise Operated): The investor provides the capital and runs daily storefront operations, paying a percentage royalty to the brand.
  • FOCO (Franchise Owned, Company Operated): Highly favored by premium brands. The investor funds the installation setup, but the parent brand handles daily operations to ensure quality standards. Profits are shared proportionally.
  • COCO (Company Owned, Company Operated): The parent brand funds everything internally, keeps 100% equity, and does not use outside franchise capital.

A Master Franchise structure grants exclusive development rights to an enterprise investor or corporate group over an expansive geographic zone (like an entire state or country). The Master Franchisee runs the local operations and has the legal right to sub-franchise out units to smaller operators inside that territory.

Multi-Unit Franchising allows an investor to purchase and run several stores concurrently. An Area Development Agreement legally requires the operator to open a pre-determined number of storefronts within a specific area over a strict timeline, blocking out local market competitors.

  • Franchise Fee: A single, up-front payment to acquire the brand usage rights and initial corporate setup support.
  • Royalty Fee: Continuous payments (usually 4% to 10% of monthly gross sales) to support systems and corporate optimization.
  • Brand Marketing Fund: A pooled corporate advertising fee (typically 1% to 4%) used exclusively for national marketing campaigns.

We outline geographic exclusivity metrics explicitly within our legal disclosure contracts. Territory buffers are calculated using localized population density, traffic vectors, and core target demographics to protect unit profit margins.

Standard single-unit timelines typically run between 5 and 10 years, while major master expansion agreements can run for 15 to 20 years. Extensions are granted based on quality audits, compliance rankings, and updating facility designs.

Corporate blueprints state that operators must source products solely from pre-approved factories or distribution lines. This guarantees product uniformity across different cities and keeps proprietary processes completely secure.

If an operator drops below standard quality benchmarks or breaks compliance rules, it triggers a 'Cure Period' (normally 15 to 30 days). If the issue isn't fixed, the parent brand has the legal right to pull trademark access and terminate the store agreement to protect the network.
